Youth Leadership Program
Registration for our 2nd year of the Youth Leadership Program is now live!
The Youth Leadership Program is aimed at providing high school and college students the knowledge and resources to understand how to organize for important issues impacting the larger Nashville community.
From August - December, we will focus on learning leadership skills and understanding how to organize within the framework of a community. Students will have an opportunity to organize an event for the community in order to gain hands on experience. All sessions will be at 11am on the following dates for the fall: Aug 8th, Sep 12th, Oct 3rd, Nov 7th
From January - June, we will focus on workshops led by local organizations and community leaders to understand which issues affect the Nashville community and volunteer alongside those organizations in supporting their work. Session dates: Jan 23rd 11am, Feb 6th 11am, March TBD, April TBD, June TBD
This program is open to all high school students and freshmen in college!
To register, please complete the form below. We will only be allowing a max 20 students for this year's group. Registration ends July 31st, 2020.
This program is run jointly by Anhar Institute and the American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC).
*Note: We will be meeting online if the health concerns have not passed. We are monitoring the situation and will follow MNPS
