Often times in our communities, we commit to action with taking the proper time and effort to evaluate our needs.  Over the last decade, many communities have begun demanding the hiring of Youth Directors, however, not all communities sincerely have the need. The masjid ends up spending more money than they should for the sake of placating people and the community loses out. 

We have to ask ourselves tough questions in order to have a proper evaluation of our needs in regards to youth. Are you sure a full time employee is what's most needed? Is your community truly prepared to hire anyone? Do they have the infrastructure in place?
